Company ProfilePupil Transportation Consultants, LLC, founded in 2001 is a New England based company deeply committed to promoting safe and efficient pupil transportation practices. Our company is guided by the basic philosophy that "Child Safety Is No Accident". Achieving the safest possible transportation services requires the constant vigilance, on going training and solid commitment of everyone involved. Pupil Transportation Consultants, LLC is a member of the National Association for Pupil Transportation and the Maine Association for Pupil Transportation. The career of George P. Jones, III, our principal and founder, includes forty four years of transportation experience including twenty two years of pupil transportation. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the Maine Transportation Safety Coalition and a member of the Board of Directors of the Pupil Transportation Safety Institute (PTSI), Syracuse, NY. He is a past President of PTSI, a past President of the Massachusetts Association for Pupil Transportation, an organization which he co-founded in 1991 and he has served two terms as the Region 1 Director, National Association for Pupil Transportation. Mr. Jones has been a presenter at conferences of the Massachusetts Association for Pupil Transportation, the Maine Association for Pupil Transportation and the New York Association for Pupil Transportation. Mr. Jones is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and he holds an M.B.A. from Rivier College, Nashua, NH.
